I need to get a ton of work done this week (trying to with my kids off for a snow day!), which leads me to this post... I have a question for the 2 people that read my blog (LOL) - how do you schedule your time when you work from home? Do you work 9-5 with a lunch break, or do you work when you feel like it? Do you schedule your entire day down to a task list, by time, or by event? Would love to hear your scheduling tips - you can post in the comments, email me, post on facebook, twitter, etc. Thanks for any insights!

As I mentioned, the kids are off again today after we were buried with a blizzard yesterday (after this weekend's huge snow fall)... my car windshield had 14" of snow/ice this morning! LOL! That on top of Calista's ongoing stomach bug (vomiting Sunday, stayed home Monday and was fine so sent her to school Tuesday, she came home and threw up from Tuesday night until yesterday afternoon!) has made us stir crazy! I was sick again this weekend and was not doing well yesterday either - I am calling it the yack-a-mole game of 2010. I would *NOT* recommend it! :-)
Calista was sick off and on in January too, along with Colton and me, so...I invested in this purifier a couple weeks ago for my bedroom - I gotta say I love it. I can totally tell a difference and K is breathing much better when he is here with his allergies. I am thinking I need to buy one for the family room so we stop the constant sick bug pass-around! I wasn't sure if it would be a bunch of hooey but I like how fresh it smells and the lack of allergens (cat, dust, etc.). So far it is a thumbs up!
That's all for now... thanks for stopping by!
I have decided I am going to get blogging again - there is something about typing nonsensical ramblings that help me clear my head! LOL!

We celebrated Calista's 6th bday yesterday with dinner at On the Border (all you can eat enchiladas! yummmm!) and she opened her gifts (DS games - Tinkerbell and iCarly, a razor scooter, and the coolest ladybug light)... She was one happy chiquita!
Oh - to be 6 again!

Today, work-wise, I am prepping for a call, doing some research, coming up with new ideas for my portfolio and trying to organize my office space. I have one eye out the window for the snow to start (12-18 inches with a possibility of 24 inches! Ugh!) and have my shovel and ice-melt (thanks @kman415) at the ready. Looks like this weekend will be spent cuddled up with some cocoa!
What is on your to-do list today?
Three years cancer free today... Three years ago.
Wow - have things changed since then (for the much, much better!). More to come...
Yes, my best friend in the world is awesome. Just thought I would tell you all that. I got this today... put a huge smile on my face and made me laugh (bonus)!
Happy Mother's Day to JEN, my mom (June), my aunts (Becky, Laurie and Jenny), my grandma (Rita), my sister-in-law (Trisha - preggo with baby girl!!) and all the moms out there! For all you do - cheers!
Yes, trying to get back into the swing of things and having a rough go of it. As you can see from my last post (go somewhere else to do your thing, yk?), the divorce process isn't going very smoothly/quickly. I just want it to be done so we can all move forward. I would like the house to be sold NOW, the papers signed NOW, move on with everything NOW. I filed for divorce in September and we seem no closer to the end than at that time - everything is having to go through the court instead of being settled because of...
Boy am i biting my tongue here (or would it be clamping my hands?)!
Anyone else been through this and have words of wisdom for me? Thanks for those of you who have emailed me your thoughts already.

So LOST was on last night. Woo hoo! i missed some of it (thanks to APRIL - LOLOL) but will be watching it again. I am not a TV person at all but would like to start getting into some shows to keep my mind off of the stuff going on - what shows do you watch? I just started watching 24 this season too and it is decent. I also like ghost hunters due to my friendly ghost that lives with me but then i get all freaked out!
Let me know if you have any TV recommendations.
Back to LOST - some of my random thoughts: I think Miles is Wickman/Candle/Pierre's baby; if no one can die off the island if the island won't let them how will Locke die or any of them for that matter; does Walt have to go back to the island too; why doesn't locke remember the compass when alpert comes to see him as a boy; where has the smoke monster gone; and OMG I didn't catch "ellie" (thanks Jen) but that is short for "eloise" which is faraday's rat's name and his mother's name and widmore is on the island so widmore could be faraday's father and Penny his sister!! Whoa!
Will stop now. Brain spinning.

BTW - signed up for chemistry.com / match.com to see what is out there. I think it would be nice to meet new people who are hopefully normal. LOL.
Have a good day all!
I have officially established myself as a LOST addict. I am not really a TV person but LOST (and Jen - LOL) have kind of changed that. Three hours of Lost tonight after a downright horrible day?!? I am so there!
Post if you are going to watch, or after and let me know what you think! Enjoy it.
My blog is reopened! One of my resolutions was to reopen my blog so I can check it off my list. One resolution down anyway!
Not that I can say all that I want to say right now, but slow and steady is key right? Bits and pieces...
My main email accounts were deleted so you can now reach me at [email protected] or [email protected] (if you want to know why they were deleted, why my blog had to be closed, etc feel free to email me anytime).
I have all comments on moderation for now, until further notice. I will approve them as soon as I can - i really hate that I have to do that but with everything going on in my life right now it is better to play it safe.
I also opened my twitter account back up (it was set to private) - http://twitter.com/jeanineb
That is all for now... thanks for all the wonderful emails and support over the past few months. I appreciate it more than you can imagine!
I am a single work-at-home mom of 2, licensed artist / designer, blogger, CPA, involved with kids who have special needs (mine!), and can ramble with the best of them.
