ABOUT JEANINE'S COMPANY:
Jeanine Kristy DeOre (formerly Baechtold) is co-owner of Kristy Valshan Inc, an art licensing and design company named for the middle names of Jeanine and her business partner Jen Reed.

Jen and Jeanine began selling their popular digital scrapbook designs through various outlets directly to consumers starting in 2004. The two talented women officially launched their partnership in 2005 when Jen joined Jeanine in managing and expanding her digital scrapbook webstore. After successfully collaborating on this and various other projects, the women realized they not only shared a creative sense of design and keen mind for business, but they also shared common goals for success. In early 2007, the two women began licensing their art under the Kristy Valshan brand name.

Kristy Valshan, Inc. combines traditional artistic media with the freedom of technology to create artwork that is both beautiful and unique. The artists’ bold color selections, intricate patterns and unique style are the signature elements found in each distinctive collection. With themes ranging from European elegance to whimsical fun, Kristy Valshan licensees have successfully incorporated the trend-forward designs into a variety of product categories and industries.

ABOUT JEANINE:
Jeanine, a CPA and former supervising auditor and consultant for several large public accounting firms, started scrapbooking in 2001. She began designing and selling digital scrapbook papers and embellishments in 2004. Later that year, Jeanine launched a popular online scrapbooking community to allow scrapbookers to chat with others, post and share layouts, and discuss techniques. The website continues to grow and currently boasts over 30,000 members.

In 2005, Jeanine opened a webstore offering a variety of printable and digital paper craft items for the scrapbooker, cardmaker, and crafter/hobbyist. The store was sold in 2007.

Jeanine has been a featured designer at Scrapbook.com, ComputerScrapbook.com, ScrapWow.com, and ScrappersGuide.com and has provided scrapbook/card templates to Sony for its Snaplab Digital Photo-Finishing System. Her designs and scrapbook layouts have been included in various publications such as Memory Makers and Simple Scrapbooks magazines, as well as books by Design Originals.
